When you return to this course again, you can either select the link from your My Courses page or select the course from the course listings. As long as you log in with your same user name, you will not have to re-enroll in a course.

No. Each course is divided into chapters so it is easier to watch in manageable increments. If you stop within a chapter, you can use the player controls to go back to where you left off. You can return to a course whenever you have time. However, take note of the expiration date of each program. Although you can return to view the video, you cannot claim any CME or CE credit after the expiration date of the accreditation. Also, you cannot claim credit for taking a course more than once.

Some courses are presented in pdf (portable document format) files. This provides the equivalent of a printed document that is visible on all computers. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (click here to download) if you do not already have it installed on your computer. When you access course content in a pdf file, it will download to your computer. You may select where that file is saved. Then you may read the material on your screen through Acrobat Reader or you may print it to read in hard copy.

After you have taken the course, you may return to complete the posttest at another time. But, if you leave the site while taking a posttest, your answers will not be saved and you will have to begin the test again to claim credit. You can take the test at any time during the accreditation period. Through your My Courses link, you will quickly see a list of the courses you are enrolled in as well as the whether or not you have passed the test.

Once you have successfully completed the posttest for a course, your credit certificate will be available immediately at your My Courses page.

The specific score required for credit is indicated for each course. For most courses, a score of 70% or 75% is required to pass the test.

If you do not complete the posttest with the required passing score, you may retake the test. You may wish to re-review portions of the course content to ensure that you have learned the required material. Many courses have a limit on the number of times you may attempt to pass the posttest, most often the limit is 3 attempts. For CE courses, this test attempt limit is required.

The ACCME requires that all CME providers evaluate the effectiveness of CME activities. Therefore, all CME courses include a required course evaluation form. Different accredited providers may have different formats or questions, but all of these forms are designed to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the course in providing educational material that meets the learning objectives. Since this evaluation is required, you will not receive the CME certificate until the evaluation is completed.
