Dr Shellock is an internationally respected magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) researcher and educator, developed this series of educational programs on the vital topic of MRI safety and patient management. These courses were designed to address the needs of professional and support staff with specific roles in the MRI department and throughout the hospital or imaging center. Through these courses, Dr. Shellock provides relevant and up-to-date safety training for the entire range of healthcare facility personnel and others involved in providing and supporting MRI services. To protect patients and staff members, and to meet the American College of Radiology recommendations and Joint Commission guidelines, all personnel should receive MRI safety training on an annual basis.
